Jio Meet is a conference call program intended for business users and those with Indian phone numbers. You can create secure rooms to meet other people, and you can even invite others to join the meeting. The interface is simple and you should have no problems using and controlling this software.

Basic Features

Jio Meet has many of the features you expect from conference call software. This allows you to instantly create meetings for specific participants. You can also invite others to join an ongoing meeting. There is also a Waiting Room tool. This allows you to screen participants before they join. You must approve them coming in, but this prevents unwelcome people from joining the meeting.

You can choose to make conference calls on the fly or at scheduled times. Not only that, but all meetings are encrypted to prevent people from stealing the data or intercepting the call. Calls can also be further protected with passwords.

Bandwidth and Other Features

Jio Meet allows you to see and hear other participants while using relatively low bandwidths. This is ideal for phones that might have a limited data plan or areas where Internet signals aren't the best. There's also a driving mode that allows people to participate safely when they are driving. Sometimes people can only participate while they're on the road, but you don't want them to get hurt while doing so. This allows them to join without any risk of an accident.

Another fantastic feature is the ability to share your screen. You can choose whether all or only some members can do this when setting up the call.

Mobile Numbers

Jio Meet allows users to sign up with their mobile number, but it only works with Indian phone numbers. You'll need an Indian phone number when signing up for the program when if you're invited into the meeting. Some invited members on a computer might be able to get around this, but the vast majority of users will need an Indian number for Jio Meet to work.
